Australian singer-songwriter Lenka has released the title track, ‘Good Days’, giving fans another preview of her upcoming album, which is set to come out on May 29th through Skipalong Records.

“This song is a spell and a wish I am putting out into the world,” notes Lenka. “It is the soundtrack to the life I want for myself and us all. We all deserve some good days please. I extended the name to the album title to give more potency to the magic that I truly hope will work.”

Lenka is a songwriter on a journey to explore the quandaries of life and love in a wistful, whimsical way. Her new album Good Days continues this arc, offering up ten new melodic musings on being a mid-life woman in a perplexing world. From the opening retro soul ditty ‘Sunshine Girl’ to the final beatnik-inspired track ‘The Balance’ (written in collaboration with her international fanbase), Lenka takes us on a throw-back journey of unique feel-good music to soothe the soul.

Recorded in Sydney with producer Tony Buchen (Troye Sivan, Tomberlin), Good Days delivers an atmospheric soul-revival sound with plenty of horns, strings and layered vocals. It's a return to an old-fashioned simplicity where musicianship and songwriting lead the way and authenticity shines through. It sends out a message of hope and love in an uncertain world and connects with the human spirit's search for more good days to come.

Throughout her 20-year career, Lenka has charmed her listeners with such hits as ‘The Show’, ‘Trouble Is A Friend’ and‘Everything at Once’, all tackling relatable stresses and desires while lifting spirits and growing a devoted fanbase around the world. Her music has often featured in film and television, most notably Moneyball, Easy A, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and a commercial for Windows, which sent her song ‘Everything At Once’  to number 1 in five countries.
