September & October shows selling fast!

With only weeks left until Auckland’s NO CIGAR return to Australia, the beloved group are excited to announce the special guests who will be appearing at these shows that will take place right around the country throughout September and October.

The tour is NO CIGAR’s most expansive run of Australian shows to date, testament to the band’s growth in this market over the past year. The indie favourites were quick to solidify their status as ones to watch on this side of the pond when they last toured in 2025. Now, deep in the process of exploring new influences and sounds, NO CIGAR is riding a wave of fresh creativity that they can’t wait to share with fans.

Joining the fun at shows on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane, will be indie rock group TEAR DRIVE. Making an impact of their own locally for their brand of cinematic alt-indie sounds, cleverly weaving pop throughout, the four-piece group marked their arrival properly with the release of their debut EP, Face To Face.

At shows in Canberra, Wollongong and Manly, energetic surf rock act CHEEKY LEASH will be bringing their sun-soaked vibes to the mix. The group is currently preparing for the release of their debut album, How Much Love Have I Got Left (set for release on September 3), making these shows extra special for the band and punters alike.

Gold Coast rockers RUN RAY RUN will join the bill in Byron Bay - a group that has been gaining great traction for their fast-paced style and insatiable charisma. Also hailing from the Gold Coast, indie group LAUREL HILL will support NO CIGAR at their Moonee Beach show; having released their self-titled debut EP back in February, this band is generating some exciting momentum of their own.

Now based in Australia, fellow NZ indie group PARK RD will reunite with NO CIGAR at the show in Sydney. Creating music with a feel-good energy at its core, the Auckland originals have been part of the same wave of NZ indie groups breaking through in new ways outside their home country.

Atmospheric indie group THE SATTS will open things up in Melbourne, the emerging act blending indie, pop and punk-infused attitude together with a stage presence that is pushing them onto more radars in their local scene. On the West Coast, surf rock group WILLOW PARK will support in Perth; perfect for fans of artists like Rum Jungle and Ocean Alley, this is a band that has kept things fresh while acknowledging the tapestry of sounds that have come before them.

And in Adelaide, NO CIGAR will have Perth’s LAZY HAZE open things up - the breakout group have fast become favourites on their local indie scene before cementing their place alongside some of the country’s biggest bands of the genre.

With tickets for NO CIGAR’s Australian tour selling fast, fans are encouraged to snap theirs up quickly to avoid disappointment.

'This tour is our most ambitious yet. Coming off the back of a fruitful creative period, we're excited to bring a few new tunes to light and see how the Aussie audiences get around it. We've collated a really strong lineup of local supports, with a slice of kiwi flavour sprinkled in for Sydney and Adelaide. Bring on spring' No Cigar
