Travis and Josh Pyke live at Metropolis Fremantle | 08 January 2026

Scottish icons Travis made a triumphant return to Australia, turning back the clock to celebrate their seminal masterpiece, The Man Who. Far from a standard "greatest hits" set, the night was a masterclass in storytelling. As the band played the late-90s classic in its entirety—anchored by the soaring melancholy of "Writing to Reach You" and the anthemic "Why Does It Always Rain on Me?"—they broke the fourth wall with a hilarious, PowerPoint-fueled trip down memory lane.

The second hour of their other hits, fan favorites and a few fresh tracks that saw the largely Scottish crowd nearly lift the roof off with their singing.

It was a rare, intimate look behind the curtain that kept even the most boisterous fans hanging on every word.
