Holly Humberstone and Holley Hebe live at Freo.Social, Fremantle | 27 November 2025

Freo Social played host to Holly Humberstone's Perth stop on her national headlining tour in tandem with Sam Fender's tour. Being her final show before herself and Sam trailed off back to London on the following Sunday.
The venue made for a chill atmosphere as punters gathered around the stage to catch support act Holly Hebe. Usually accompanied with a backing band, Hebe decided to strike it out alone.

Armed with keyboard, and a hand-coordination which allowed her digits to dance up and down the keys. It was no surprise that one punter has dubbed her loudly as the 'piano queen' in a cheeky, and endearing acknowledgment of her keyboard playing skills. Hebe played out a sound which was soft and mellow in instrumentation; Yet carried emotional weight lyrically. There were some memorable moments, such as trying to warm up the crowd to do a call and response to one of her songs 'snap' (it was early in the evening, by the 3rd or 4th try there was some success) as well as singing a song about what her dog would be like if it was a person (the breed was a Labrador, we've all met one of those people).

After a brief intermission, the lighting dimmed to darkness and a soundtrack began playing as a prelude to Humberstone's set. With her backing band setting themselves up first, and Humberstone following behind the mic not long behind her. The crowd were happy to see her, cheering at began playing her first tracks.
Her set was a mixture of old and new music. With the order being mixed up in such a way to give the punters some variety. Her set was also noticeably smooth, with the songs and instrumentation blending seamlessly from one to the next. There was an air of humility in the way Humberstone presented her music. Particularly when expressing gratitude before playing her first song, which she reflected on not realizing would be the start of a successful singer-songwriting career.

Midway through her set, Humberstone's boyfriend also emerged onto the stage to play with her. Who was playing in Sam Fenders support band. The close of Hunberstone's set finished with 'Ghost Me' and after a brief encore finishing off strong with 'Scarlett', of which a loud instrumentation, paired with her lilting vocals and an ecstatic guitar solo made for an apt goodbye to her Perth fans for before she returned to the UK.
